Who we are
Local Service Mastery (“LSM”, “we”, “us”) runs localservicemastery.com and provides marketing training, done-for-you marketing services and a social publishing dashboard at social.localservicemastery.com for home-service businesses. Questions about this policy: [email protected].
What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and how you can have it deleted. It covers our website, our services and our social publishing dashboard.
Information you give us
When you book a call, fill in one of our forms, buy a service or become a client, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number and any details you choose to share about your business. Payments are processed by our payment providers, such as Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
Information collected when you visit our website
Our website uses cookies and similar tools from Google (Analytics and Tag Manager), Meta, TikTok and X to measure visits and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. CallRail shows a tracking phone number so we can see which page or ad led to a call, ClickCease checks our ad clicks for fraud, and Wordfence protects the site from attacks; these tools record technical details such as your IP address and browser. We use Wistia to play videos and HighLevel (LeadConnector) for our forms, surveys and booking calendar. If you choose to talk to the voice assistant on our homepage, your voice and the conversation are processed by Cartesia, the provider that runs it. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
Social accounts you connect to our publishing dashboard
Clients can connect their own TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile accounts so we can publish the content they schedule. You connect each account yourself, on that platform’s own sign-in page. We never ask for, receive or store your passwords, and we do not read your private messages. For each account you connect, we store the access tokens the platform gives us, and the name, ID and picture of the account, Page or channel you chose.
TikTok
We ask TikTok for two permissions only: user.info.basic (your basic profile) and video.upload (uploading videos to your account as drafts). If you connect a TikTok account, we keep only the following from TikTok:
- your TikTok account ID, display name and profile picture, so we can link the account to your workspace and show you which account is connected;
- an access token and a refresh token, which let us send the videos you schedule to your account.
We also store the videos and captions you schedule for TikTok, and whether each upload succeeded.
We use this information only to show you your connected account and to send the videos you scheduled to your TikTok inbox. Each video arrives as a draft: you open TikTok, choose your own privacy settings and publish it yourself. We cannot publish to your profile for you, and we do not access your followers, your other videos, your messages or your statistics.
We do not sell TikTok data or use it for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone other than the hosting provider that runs our servers.
How we use your information
We use it to provide the services you signed up for, to publish the content you asked us to publish, to send you service messages and invoices, to answer support requests and to improve our services.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us run our business, such as our hosting, payment, email and text-message providers and the website tools named above, who may use it only to provide their service to us;
- with the platforms you connect, which receive the content you ask us to publish;
- when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Social account tokens and profile information, including TikTok: kept while the account is connected. When you disconnect an account, we stop using its tokens immediately and delete the tokens and the account’s name, ID and picture within 30 days (our nightly cleanup normally does it within a day).
- Videos and images you uploaded, and your publishing history: kept for your account until you ask us to delete them.
- Invoices and payment records: kept for as long as the law requires.
How to delete your data
- Disconnect the account yourself: sign in at social.localservicemastery.com, open the channel’s menu and choose Delete.
- Remove our access from TikTok: in the TikTok app, tap Profile, tap the Menu button (☰), then Settings and privacy, Security & permissions, Apps and services permissions. Choose Local Service Mastery and tap Remove access.
- Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my data”. We confirm within 2 business days and finish the deletion within 30 days.
